Charming 1940's covered "Mexicali" pattern powder jar in orange slag swirl glass with a sombrero lid by the Pickwick Cosmetic Corp., Fifth Ave, New York.
Akro Agate glass jar measures 4 1/23" high with the lid and 3 1/4" in diameter.
Mark on bottom reads: "Mexicali, Patent Applied For, Pickwick Cosmetic Corp, Fifth Ave, New York".
No chips, cracks or restorations. However! There is a small mark in the glass on the bottom from the maker. This is not a flaw and I have included a photograph.
