Presented is a 1993 Kevin Garnett signed Mauldin (South Carolina) High School yearbook with a lengthy and explicit personal message inscribed in black pen on the first interior page. Garnett has inscribed “WZUP Punk! My m-----f---a! Bad a—stay out of trouble this summer and I don’t want to see on “America’s Most Wanted” Na, but, stay cool my n---- see mother funk A Peace K.G. I’m outty” in the personal copy of classmate Jason Richards.  Garnett also signed a second page in the book over an image of him playing basketball and wrote, "Whats Up Dude, Stay Cool Bit*h, See Ya A**hole" and added a "PS I Got your #5" and also added "NBA -Material" above his team basketball photo in the book. The 292-page hardcover yearbook has the title “’93 Reflections Taking Control” in a stylized logo in black, white and gold on the gray and white marbled covers, and the inscription “Jason Richards” in gold on the lower right corner of the front cover. In his first three years of high school, Garnett attended Mauldin High School in Mauldin, South Carolina and played on the school's basketball team. However, during the summer before his senior year of high school, Garnett decided to leave Mauldin High and transferred to Farragut Career Academy in Chicago's West Side, for his senior year of high school. Garnett was a 1995 McDonald's All-American at Farragut and won a national player of the year award. Garnett played for 21 seasons in the National Basketball Association, with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets. Known for his intensity, defensive ability, and versatility, Garnett is considered one of the greatest power forwards of all time.
