The Marshall 1960B 4x12 speaker cabinet is stage used by Nirvana for years, including while filming their Live and Loud video released in September 2013. The cabinet has “K3 Music Bank - Vintage” stenciled on the back, and the speakers installed are Celestion v30. The Live and Loud video shows the band’s full concert from Pier 48 in Seattle on December 13, 1993, and was re leased as part of the 20th anniversary of the band’s third and final studio album In Utero. The speaker cabinet has "Kurt" written faintly in the top right corner. This was one of Kurt’s main amps and a major piece of rock and roll history!!
It has been used for other band performances such as Hole and OPM after Kurt Cobain’s death. A band member from OPM was the recipient of this cabinet after a performance. Accompanied by a copy of the Live and Loud DVD, which also contains bonus footage from the In Utero tour.
An amazingly well documented piece of rock and roll history !
